Mary C. Dickerson, MD
Dr. Mary Dickerson, a board-certified dermatologist, has been at the forefront of exceptional patient care for 20 years.
Dedicated to providing her patients with top quality medical care, Dr. Mary C. Dickerson specializes in surgical, cosmetic and general dermatology. She was named the “Most Outstanding Graduate” when she graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School with a 4.0 GPA and awards in internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Dickerson completed a year of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and then a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Dickerson is the founder and medical director of LA Dermatology Laser and Cosmetic Center where she is committed to providing quality, cutting edge cosmetic treatments for her patients. She also enjoys treating skin conditions and focusing on the prevention, detection and treatment of skin cancer.
By creating Clearscience Skin Care®, she now provides her patients the most effective skincare routines, allowing more personalized benefits.
Her dedication to the field has been recognized through multiple consecutive wins of the coveted titles of Best Dermatologist, Best Cosmetic Center, and Best Dermatology Clinic in Baton Rouge, along with distinctions like the Vitals Top Doctor, Louisiana Top Doctor, and the Vitals Compassionate Doctor Award, Castle Connolly Top Doctor 2009-2023 and Exceptional Women in Medicine 2020-2023.
Engaged in various professional associations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Louisiana Dermatology Society, and the Dermatology Foundation Leader's Society, she actively contributes to advancing dermatological care.
Dr. Mary Dickerson and her husband, Dr. Ryan Dickerson foster a shared passion for healthcare and live in Baton Rouge with their three children and one pup.

Tara Rheubottom, DMSc, PA-C
Tara Rheubottom, DMSc, PA-C, is a board-certified dermatology provider with more than 25 years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve healthy skin and hair through personalized, evidence-based care.
Specializing in skin of color, hair loss disorders, hyperpigmentation, acne, scarring, eczema, and other dermatologic conditions, Tara is passionate about research, patient education and enjoys teaching about safe skin and hair care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas, her graduate PA degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and her Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree from A.T. Still University.
As co-founder of Clearscience Skin Care®, Tara is committed to simplifying skincare by providing effective, science-backed products that help patients achieve healthy skin with confidence.
Tara is particularly passionate about hair loss disorders, hyperpigmentation and scarring and is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy skin and hair through education, prevention, and evidence-based care.
As co-founder of Clearscience Skin Care®, Tara believes skincare should be effective, uncomplicated, and accessible. Her goal is to provide science-backed solutions that simplify skincare routines while delivering meaningful results for patients of all skin types.
Beyond her clinical practice, Tara remains actively involved in professional organizations, including the Skin of Color Society, Academy of Doctoral PAs, and Cicatricial Alopecia Research Foundation. She is also committed to serving her community through leadership and volunteer involvement with organizations such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Jack and Jill of America, Baton Rouge Chapter, Baton Rouge Symphony League, and National Charity League.
Through her clinical work, research, community engagement, and commitment to education, Tara continues to advocate for healthy skin, hair, nails and improved patient outcomes.
